Franconia - New Hampshire
Franconia, New Hampshire is a small little town nestled in the White Mountains. Franconia is home to the northern half of Franconia Notch State Park. In Franconia Notch, you can take a trip up Cannon Mountain Aerial Tramway to witness the beautiful surrounding mountains, view where the Old Man of the Mountain used to stand tall, and visit the Flume Gorge with its rocky walls and 800 foot gorge.
Franconia offers an abundance of recreational opportunities too. Hike to be rewarded with one of the most photographed waterfalls in the White Mountains, Bridal Veil Falls. In the summer months take advantage of Echo Lake by renting a canoe or paddleboat or relax on the sandy beach with a mountain view.

The rich history of The Frost Place, former home of poet Robert Frost and the New England Ski Museum provide great learning experiences for all ages. The New England Ski Museum presents a timeline of the development of skiing and displays the five Olympic medals won by US Ski Team member Bode Miller, a native to the area.
