North Conway - New Hampshire
North Conway is a one-stop destination for those visiting the White Mountains of New Hampshire and has a little of everything for every outdoor adventurer or culinary enthusiast, as well as those looking for a unique treasure to bring home. In 2020, North Conway made two of USA Today’s Reader’s Choice Awards lists and took home the top spot as the “Best Ski Town” and was in the top 10 for “Best Small Town for Adventure”.
There are gorgeous historic buildings, quaint antique shops, bookstores, bakeries, big-name outlet stores and ample opportunities for year-round outdoor recreation. North Conway is a 4-season vacation wonderland unique in character and landscape. Rock climbers will love Cathedral and Whitehorse Ledges and shoppers will find great deals at the over 100 big name factory outlet stores at Settlers Green and will love exploring the little shops along Main Street in the Village. Schouler Park in North Conway Village is a great place to enjoy a picnic lunch or toss around a frisbee. Take in a free concert in the summer or bring the kids to the playground to burn some energy. Watch trains come and go from the Victorian train station at the Conway Scenic Railroad and stop in at the New England Ski Museum to learn about the history of skiing in the region.
Take a drive and find one of many covered bridges and waterfalls and in the summer, find a swimming hole along the Saco River. Local ski resort, Cranmore Mountain, is not only a great place to visit in winter, but they also offer summer scenic chair lift rides, a mountain coaster, and a Mountain Adventure Park. There’s no end to the fun in North Conway.
