Seasonal Events in the White Mountains
The White Mountains has many signature events that take place year after year. March is Maple Month, when Maple Sugaring houses across the region open their doors to guest to experience the boiling process. April’s mud season brings the Lincoln Woodstock Town-Wide Murder Mystery event, which sends participants throughout the towns of Lincoln and Woodstock searching for clues and suspects to solve the mystery. The month of June brings the bloom of the lupine flowers in Sugar Hill along with their annual Lupine Festival. The summer months are full of holiday firework displays and annual summer concert series and Labor Day is a great time for Rubber Duck Regattas. Fall not only brings foliage but also fall festivals, Oktoberfest celebrations, the Return of the Pumpkin People and the annual Highland Games & Festival. Winter means Christmas and Santa has his hand in many celebrations, festivals, and train ride excursions throughout the region. Many of the White Mountains Attractions host their own annual events while local communities offer something special to families and couples alike. Our seasonal events have become something to look forward to for visitors who come to the region year after year, and some of the more nostalgic, long-running events have been attended by several generations in one family. Each season offers unique and special events that we look forward to year after year.
