Our New Year’s events in the White Mountains run the gamut from the traditional (fireworks, dance parties, and festive dinners) to the unexpected (like winter hikes and snowshoe bashes). The countdown is on for 2025, so find your perfect way to celebrate stat.
CRANMORE MOUNTAIN RESORT (North Conway, NH) *Fireworks*
It’s Cranapalooza, bumped up a few extra, glowy notches! Cranmore Mountain Resort is hosting a NYE Cranapalooza Glo Party to help make New Year’s Eve one to remember. Boogie until well after dark. Then? It’s time to cheer on the epic fireworks show.

LOON MOUNTAIN RESORT (Lincoln, NH)
Ski all day and party all night? That sounds like our idea of a perfect lead-in to the New Year. Loon Mountain Resort in Lincoln, NH is hosting two fun evening to do's: a Snowshoe and S'mores Apres Party at Camp III and a 21+ New Year’s Eve Bash in their legendary Paul Bunyan Room complete with live music, a midnight toast, and hot and cold hors-d’oeuvres.

BRETTON WOODS SKI AREA (Bretton Woods, NH)

NORTH CONWAY, NH *Fireworks*
Get ready for the new year with a spectacular, sparkling fireworks show at Schouler Park. What to do before dark? We'd suggest shopping and dining your way around town.

WATERVILLE VALLEY, NH *Fireworks*
Waterville Valley is your western White Mountains hub for New Year’s frivolity. Keep scrolling for the celebratory lineup…
Kick off the (almost) new year with kid-friendly activities hosted by the Waterville Valley Recreation Department, including a Bear Factory where kiddos can customize their own fuzzy friend and an Ice Cream Social later in the day. For full event details, visit the Rec Department's website.

NH STATE PARKS (Various Locations)
Step into a new year filled with adventure! NH State Parks will keep your resolution strong from day one with their statewide First Day Hikes. We have two to pick from in our neck of the woods: Milan Hill State Park (Milan, NH) and White Lake State Park (Tamworth, NH).

FRANCONIA INN (Franconia, NH)
If firepits, a champagne toast, and a New Years rung in north of the notches sounds like your nirvana, head to the Franconia Inn. There’s no entry fee to enjoy the frivolity found in Peaks Pub, and the food, drinks, live music, and decorations (plus fun activities!) will keep you smiling well past midnight.

WOODSTOCK INN BREWERY (North Woodstock, NH)
Party it up at the Woodstock Inn Brewery! In addition to great dining, this North Woodstock, NH is hosting its annual New Year's Celebration complete with live music, party favors, and a champagne toast to cheers the New Year.

MOUNTAIN VIEW GRAND RESORT & SPA (Whitefield, NH) *Fireworks*
The Mountain View Grand Resort & Spa is offering a New Year's Eve in the White Mountains for the whole family. The younger set should check out the New Year's Eve Family Event, where a glow-in-dark theme is your backdrop for fun. All ages can enjoy the buffet (did you know there's a kid-friendly buffet section too?), make-your-own late night snack bar, and dancing and entertainment topped off with a spectacular fireworks display.
If you'd rather attend a a semi-formal event just for adults, set your sights on the New Year's Eve Gala in the Crystal Ballroom. Their casino-themed evening includes a chic cocktail reception, gourmet buffet dinner, live DJ entertainment, and a champagne toast at midnight.

If your 2025 plans include something grand, why not start early with a stay at one of the region’s most iconic hotels? The Omni Mount Washington Resort & Spa is hosting a jam-packed agenda of New Year’s events for their guests in the hours leading up to January 1st. From festive crafting and kid-friendly trivia to a 21+ Dueling DJs Silent Disco (as well as a First Day Snowshoe Tour the following morning), there are so many things to do on-site. Did we mention the resort is also hosting a Magical Memories Family Fun Week 12/26 - 12/30?
