Pinkham Notch, NH— The Summer Mountain Bike Series presented by Dakine begins at Great Glen Trails on Tuesday, July 6.
Racers may ride the course any time between 3:30p.m. and 7:00p.m. Competitors may race solo or as part of a team. Teams are made up of three racers, and the fastest combined time wins. All riders that complete 5 of the 8 weeks are eligible for the prize raffle held on the final week during the awards party. Prizes will also be awarded for the faster riders in each class and age group.
Set up so that riders of all ages and abilities can enjoy the trails, the series features long, short and mini courses. The long course is the most difficult featuring the most technical single track, but the short and mini course offer smoother riding for kids or those just starting to mountain bike race. Because of the multiple courses, the Summer Mountain Bike Series has become a must-do event for families year after year. As the kids have grown, they’re able to graduate to the longer courses, too.

Biking is available daily at Great Glen Trails, which features a network of gentle carriage roads that are perfect for the whole family to ride together.
